Dirty Hippie

When Jill would come in after taking care of her horses during the summer, she would use the hose to rinse off her dirty feet. Chad would question why she didn't just shower like everyone else, and he exclaimed, "What are you, a dirty hippie?". Thus a beer name was formed.

The beer didn't come to fruition until Chad decided to make a West Coast India Pale Ale. He knew he had the name for the beer once the recipe was formulated. Thus the birth of Dirty Hippie, a west coast style IPA.

The beer utilizes Magnum, Columbus, Northern Brewer, Simcoe and Mosaic hops to give it a piney and resinous flavor that compliments the malt backbone. This beer has won a silver medal in the Ultimate IPA Competition and is one of our best sellers in our taprooms and out in the market.
